US Sales Manager – CRUSH IT BRANDS

The Opportunity:
With its headquarters located in Statesville, North Carolina, Crush It Brands is looking for a US Sales Manager to join their team who will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing relationships with key accounts, and forging new business for their portfolio of sport supplement brands. This role requires a proactive and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the sport supplement business, has exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales. The US Sales Manager will oversee all sales activities within the USA, ensuring revenue targets are met and aligning sales strategies with company objectives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

 Sales Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets in the USA for the following sales channels – Distributor, Independent, Corporate/Chain (i.e. Vitamin Shoppe), and selective E-commerce.
  • Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitive insights to drive sales initiatives.
  • Set and track sales performance metrics, ensuring alignment with company goals.

 Business Development

  • Identify and establish relationships with new retail, distributor, e-commerce, and wholesale partners in the sports supplement and health and wellness.
  • Explore opportunities for brand expansion into new regions, markets, and customer segments.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute campaigns that support sales growth.

 Account Management

  • ·      Maintain strong relationships with key accounts including, Vitamin Shoppe, independent retailers, e-commerce platforms, and distributors.
  • ·      Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements to ensure profitability and brand visibility.
  • ·      Provide regular account updates and resolve any customer concerns promptly.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Support, train, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, operations, and product development teams.
  • Ensure team members stay informed about product knowledge, market trends, and sales techniques.

Market Research and Reporting

  • Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, preferences, and purchasing behavior.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to senior management.

Budget and Resource Management

  • Manage sales budgets effectively to optimize return on investment.
  • Ensure proper allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the sports supplement, health, or wellness industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the USA sports nutrition market and its key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop insights, and create actionable plans.
  • Experience managing a sales team and working collaboratively across departments.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.

Preferred Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of sports supplement products, ingredients, and market trends.
  • Experience with Vitamin Shoppe and major US Distributors and independent retailers of supplement products.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
